Ingredients
15.5 ounce chick peas/garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup sesame tahini paste
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup olive oil
3 ounces lemon juice
2 tablespoons cumin
1-1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend to a creamy texture. This may seem a bit runny but will firm up in a few hours as the fiber from the chick peas absorbs the liquid.
Yield approximately 3 cups
