Cilantro Lime Refresher
This recipe is free of the common eight food allergens: Wheat/Gluten, Eggs, Soy, Milk, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Fish, Shellfish. It is also free of corn, sugar, and alcohol.
This refreshing summer drink is good for your health! Cilantro is known to aid in the detoxification of the heavy metal, mercury.
Ingredients
1/4 cup of cilantro, packed
1 whole lime
1 cup of ice
1 cup water
1 tablespoon agave syrup
Directions
Remove the outer peel of the lime with a knife leaving behind the white pith. Place lime, cilantro, and agave syrup in the blender. Puree for 1 minute. Add ice and water. Blend until smooth and enjoy!
Makes 2 servings, approximately 1 cup each.
