Cauliflower with Tahini Sauce
This recipe is free of the common eight food allergens: Wheat/Gluten, Eggs, Soy, Milk, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Fish, Shellfish. It is also free of corn, sugar, and alcohol.
This delicate tahini sauce is a fine complement to cauliflower.
Ingredients
1 head of cauliflower
1-1/2 cups water
2 tablespoons tahini
2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon powdered mustard
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Steam cauliflower in 1-1/2 cups water until it is easily pierced with a fork. While steaming, mix the remaining ingredients, except parsley, in a large bowl with a wire wisk. Drain and toss cauliflower with sauce. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
